We are fully committed to providing sustainable sailing vacations in Croatia, and we believe that sustainable practices and appreciation for nature and the community can be done with simple everyday actions. All of our partners and yacht captains are locals, and we pride ourselves that the food and products we offer to guests onboard are sourced from local farmers’ markets as far as possible. We strive to take measures that support the local Croatian Community and eco tourism in Croatia initiatives. We firmly believe that travel is not just about seeing a beautiful place; it’s also about discovering the culture of the area you are traveling too. We strive to share our knowledge of Croatia and its rich history and customs with all of our guests.
We Believe In Sustainability
Sustainability is at the core of our vision for Anchor Croatia, and we think it should form the heart of what we do, and we try and reflect this mindset in the way we run the business. We want to be the change we want to see in the world and are taking the first step with our company to promote what Croatia has to offer. The food that we serve on our charters is as local as possible, we try to source local ingredients and keep food miles down where we can, and we are thrilled to employ local staff on our luxury yachts in Croatia.
Eco-Tourism
Living sustainably isn’t about giving up the things we love, it’s about looking for ways to incorporate environmental change into everything we do and consider the impact that our actions have on the world around us. Marko and Jen have been inspired by their travels and their love of the ocean to pursue a policy of sustainable tourism, and they’re keen to share this with their guests. Anchor Croatia is all about being the vanguard of eco-tourism in Croatia, and providing a great experience for their guests while respecting their environment.
