From here, it’s easy to explore Šolta’s attractions thanks to its central location and excellent transport connections. Begin your morning with a leisurely coffee at Martinis Marchi Bar, where you can soak in the views of luxury yachts moored in the harbour. Afterward, take a stroll through the village and browse local artisan shops offering handmade souvenirs and olive oil products, which the island is famous for.

afternoon:Head inland to the peaceful village of Donje Selo for a taste of traditional Šolta. Here, visit Olynthia Natura, a family-run olive oil estate where you can tour their groves and learn about the island’s ancient olive-growing traditions. Enjoy a guided tasting of their award-winning olive oils paired with freshly baked bread and locally sourced cheeses. For lunch, stop by Konoba Šišmiš, located in Šešula Bay, for authentic Dalmatian dishes served in a rustic setting. Try their octopus salad or peka, a slow-cooked meat and vegetable dish prepared under a bell-like lid.

Abend:

Return to Maslinica to catch a stunning Adriatic sunset. Head back to stunning Šešula Bay to dine at Konoba Šešula, one of our favourite restaurants in all of Dalmatia. Don’t miss their freshly grilled Adriatic fish and try Dobričić wine, an ancient wine variety primarily grown on Island Šolta. This spot is a favourite in nautical tourism, offering the perfect setting to relax by the water, savour your meal, and watch sailboats and yachts mooring along the coast

Tag 2: Stomorska und Nečajam

morning:

Begin your second day in the vibrant village of Stomorska, one of Šolta’s oldest fishing harbours. Start off at Sweet Pub, where you can enjoy coffee and breakfast while watching local fishermen bring in their morning catch. Afterward, take a stroll along the harbour and admire the colourful boats and historic stone houses.

Abend:

For your final dinner, head to Konoba Mareta in Nečujam, a favourite among local sailors. Treat yourself to their shrimp pasta if you know what’s good for you. Complement your meal with a crisp glass of Pošip wine. After dinner, take a peaceful stroll along Nečujam’s waterfront or relax by the bay to soak up the peaceful evening atmosphere.

Tipps für einen Besuch auf Šolta

• Getting Around: While Šolta is compact, having a car or scooter is recommended to easily access its hidden gems. Alternatively, use local busses, as Promet Split offers a number of bus routes making the island’s main villages easily accessible.

• Timing: Visit in spring or autumn for fewer crowds and pleasant weather. Summer offers vibrant village life but can be busier.

• Local Specialties: Don’t leave without sampling Šolta’s famous honey and olive oil, both of which make excellent souvenirs.
